First Trip to the Zoo
Recently Jordan and I took Emily Kathryn to the ZOO. I have to be honest, I think the zoo trip was more for Jordan than EmK. He has been wanting to take her for a long time and while she's really still too young to get the idea, Jordan LOVED it!!! We saw lots of animals, fed the giraffes, watched the monkeys swing like crazy, and rode the train. Jordan thought we should sit in the front of the train...to have the best view...bad idea!!! The moment the train whistle started blowing things just went downhill. Emily Kathryn hated the noise and the train conductor scared her too. He was trying to be funny and loud...she hated ever moment. Lesson learned...next time we will ride in the back. We didn't get to ride the carousel (what I looked forward to the most) because EmK fell asleep in her stroller. GOOD NEWS.....we have a year pass so we can go back often!!! Great minds think alike. I took Natalie to the Zoo Sat. She didn't like feeding the animals, she wanted me to do it. Then she just giggled. Might be awhile before EmK is really into it but then you'll have loads of fun with her...although it does seem Jordan had a blast in these pictures.

dan is the same as Jordan...loves the zoo. im not as much into the zoo but maybe i will start appreciating the zoo more now that nathan can start enjoying it as well. OR, we can just have the guys take the babies on saturdays so we can hang out and go to lunch without the smelly animals. by the way, missed seeing yall at play group. how all is well
I am so glad that ya'll finally to go to the zoo! We should take the girls together soon :) Yay, for EK sitting up so well. She is such a big girl!
Charlie will ride with EmK next time. He loves the train....he'll even teach her how to say, "Choo choo!"
