Grayson - 2 Months

It's hard to believe that Grayson is already 2 months.  He currently weighs 11 pounds and is 24 inches long.  He's starting to smile and laugh and we love watching him.  He is a pretty good sleeper and most nights gets up one time.  Emily Kathryn loves to get in his face (probably too close) to try and make him laugh:) Here are some pictures from the last month.

I've been meaning to do this post for a while.  I heard an idea once to ask your child the same set of questions each year on their birthday to see how their answers change over time.  I found this list on pinterest and I've been meaning to post EmK's answers.  I'll probably add a few more questions next time, but this was really fun.  I'm sure you'll see a reoccurring theme for this year -- PINK:)

Other things I'd like to remember about her at this age:

• I probably would never forget this, but she's obsessed with the color pink.  EVERYTHING needs to be pink...her fork, her cup, her bow, her toothpaste...you get the idea.  If I suggest another color like red she will say "that's a boy color".  
• When a family member goes to leave she will say "you need to get one more hug and kiss" and we do this several times before leaving.
• Her choice of words: she says "sink" instead of "think" and instead of saying "yesterday" she says "the last day"
• She loves to sing her "own" songs
• She loves balloons.....the BIG ones that last for weeks at a time
• When I'm sewing she asks me who I'm making the clothes for and usually asks if I'll make her one
• She likes to have picnics and plan pretend birthday parties with all her dolls
• When we put EmK to bed she always says "will you lay with me one more minute"
