Baby Dedication - Grayson

Grayson's baby dedication was on July 8th.  My family came to stay with us for the weekend and it was fun and chaotic.  Jordan and Greg took the older kids to Treetop and Janna, Holley, and I hung out and went for a quick shopping trip.  All of the kids plaly so well together.  I'm so thankful we could share such a special event with both our families.  Lulu (Jordan's mom) made the outfits for Emily Kathryn and Grayson.  She is an amazing seamstress and I am very thankful:)

Playing a little dress up!  I just love both of these girls.  I can't believe my niece is already 12.  She is just amazing and is always up for playing with EmK!

Grayson - 3 & 4 Months

I'm a little behind so I am combining months 3 and 4.  I never remember to take a picture on the actual day...well, until month 4.  My sweet friend Amy gave me onesies she used for her little boy and I finally remembered to use it this month:)

Grayson is a sweet baby.  He is smiling and babbling all the time.  He has started blowing bubbles and recently found his feet.  He loves his pacifier and LOVES to be outside.  I usually take him on the back porch and sit in the swing during the late afternoon when he's a little fussy...calms him immediately.  He started rice cereal a few days ago and loves it.  I could not get Emily Kathryn to eat it so I didn't think he would either...but he cleans the bowl.  He has just started rolling over and he has really started to enjoy laying on the floor! We love this little guy SO much!!  I just took him to the doctor for his 4month checkup (so it was more like 4.5 months)....but G weighed 12 pounds 8 ounces and is 25 inches long.

Dance Dance Dance

Emily Kathryn took ballet and tap with 2 sweet friends...and we made a few more during the year.  It was so fun to watch her perform with two of my favorite friend's daughters.  It was also fun to go every Thursday and catch up with my friends while she danced. At the beginning of the year EmK was so  shy that I just knew she would never perform at the recital....but with age and time she really took off and was excited about performing her routines.  Such fun memories!!!

Before the rehearsal we had a play date at the McWayne Center.  EmK and Jack loved the Dora Exhibit and did not want to leave.  Grayson slept in his car seat the entire time:) 

That afternoon we headed to rehearsal.  I think this is the funniest photo of Emily Kathryn and Hannah Grace.  It looks like they are in complete conversation while on stage:)

The show was on Saturday afternoon and all the girls were so cute.  I'll have to try and see if I can load the video we took.
